Few more minutes and officially we would be in 2008, no doubt 2007 was one of the best years of my life, I met many wonderful people, I saw many dreams and tried to fulfill them, live them with my loved ones, tried to give them more love, share some moments of joy and grief with them too. I did face some difficult times too, but tried to learn from them, and not to give up hope. I thank all my readers who read my blogs continuously, I did made you smile sometimes, sometimes laugh and sometimes I made you cry, I just tried to give you hope which is the best I could have given to you. I especially thank my loved ones who always encourage me to write for myself. I thank God for what ever he gave me and what ever he is going to give me may he bless us all, give us all which is best for us, may he guide us and open our hearts, give us all patience and give us the knowledge to guide others also. May he bring true happiness to all my loved ones, and let me share those moments of joy with them...

Ever heard of "Resume Oriented Development"? It's a common concept in the IT world where teams consider their future career prospects while choosing technologies. It's not a bad approach, but in recent times, it has contributed to project delays. Teams invest significant effort in mastering new technologies just to make their resumes stand out. While this doesn't cost them anything, it does incur extra expenses for stakeholders. Unfortunately, there's little we can do about it. However, focusing more on research-oriented development activities would be highly beneficial. For instance, opting for XFire over Axis, transitioning to JSR-181, choosing Spring over Seam, and embracing Rich Faces instead of MyFaces along with adopting Maven over Ant in the new project are strategic decisions. Two of my team members were really mad at each other last night, well common working place issues, I just kept quite last night and listened to their arguments, I just noticed that both of them were not willing to listen to each other at all (Defensive Mode), and they really needed someone badly to interfere between them someone to whom both of them can listen, someone whom both of them trust. Well unfortunately or fortunately I jumped in the argument, and then I have to listen to them LOL, well what amazed me was both of them are married and having kids now, but they really fight like kids :). As soon as I started listening to them one by one they calmed gradually, and did settle the matter in a pleasant manner also. Sometimes in life we really want someone to listen and understand, I am lucky to have my dear friend around me :).

All of us love YouTube, well until we become parents of course and have our kids who have exams next day, well Everyone loves YouTube. As going through some videos last night just an idea came in my mind, well for the benefit of YouTube and not for the users. According to the user agreements Term of Uses 6. Your User Submissions and Conduct Section C which clearly states that YouTube can nearly do anything with the video users submits. Well the idea is, Put the banners in the videos for the advertisements, there are 36 Million views to one video only, millions of hits every day people concentrate more on the video contents rather than on the advertisements which are popping up on left side of the panel, in a way if the banners are displayed inside the videos, users would be forced to view them.. Idea.
